The academic staff of the Department of Mineralogy, Petrology and Economic Geology teaches its students in the following geology directions: Mineralogy (Gemology), Petrology, Lithology, Geochemistry, Economic Geology and etc.
Many of the students, graduated from Geology specialty, successfully build careers are Geologists in companies for search and mining of minerals in Bulgaria and also worldwide – in Africa, Asia, South America, Australia.
